Information We Collect

Account Information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and, if you choose, your name and profile photo. If you sign in through Apple or Google, we receive only the information you authorize those services to share.

Workout Data. When you save a workout via our share extension, we collect the source URL and the content needed to parse the workout into structured data (exercises, sets, reps, etc.). We also store your collections, labels, and fitness goal descriptions.

Usage Data. We automatically collect information about how you interact with the Service, including device type, operating system, app version, feature usage patterns, and crash/error logs.

Subscription Data. If you subscribe to Sweatfile Pro, payment processing is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not collect or store your payment card information. We receive confirmation of your subscription status from these platforms.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
• Parse and organize your saved workout content using AI
• Generate personalized workout recommendations and plans based on your stated fitness goals
• Process and manage your subscription
• Send you service-related communications (e.g., updates, security alerts)
• Monitor usage to detect and address technical issues
• Analyze aggregated, anonymized usage trends to improve the product

AI Processing

Sweatfile uses artificial intelligence (provided by Anthropic's Claude API) to parse workout content from URLs you share and to generate workout recommendations. The content you share is sent to Anthropic's API for processing. Anthropic does not use this data to train its models. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Sweatfile:

• Supabase — database and authentication
• Anthropic — AI-powered workout parsing and recommendations
• RevenueCat — subscription management
• Apple / Google — payment processing and app distribution

These providers access your data only as necessary to perform their services and are bound by their own privacy policies.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with advertisers. We may disclose your information only in the following circumstances:

• To comply with a legal obligation or valid legal process
• To protect the rights, property, or safety of Sweatfile, our users, or the public
• With your explicit consent
• With service providers who assist us in operating the Service, subject to confidentiality obligations

Data Retention

We retain your account and workout data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Anonymized, aggregated data may be retained indefinitely for product improvement.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data in a portable format
• Opt out of certain data processing

Children's Privacy

Sweatfile is not intended for anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy within the app and updating the effective date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
